Default Removing Collections and Late Pays

Okay, I just bought my credit report from truecredit.com. I'm going to start by removing the previous addresses (none of which are fully accurate!).

I have a few accounts that I've paid but there are still some late payments showing from last year. Can and how do I remove these? Do I dispute the late payments only, or the entire account?

Also, I have a satisfied judgment that isn't even showing. The TL is showing only as a charge off/collection account. If I dispute this, will it come off easily?

As for the addresses, a simple dispute saying you've never lived there should cause them to fall oof pretty easily.

As for the collection accounts, I have had fantastic results by simply telling the CRAs,

"Dear CRA, the following TL(s) is/are inaccurate. Please verify or delete it/them as soon as possible. Thank you."
(List TLs)

Another thing I would recommend is not to use that when disputing a detail in a positive credit item or at least be careful with your wording. They would delete the account from your credit report!

With the late payments, try writing a goodwill letter to the OC sying you are trying to maintain good credit and ask that they update the month(s) to "OK".

As for the Charge off, I'm really not sure. Hopefully chane will see this thread and provide you with an answer.

Good luck.

I wouldn't say you've never lived there unless you haven't. No need to lie. I would just say they are inaccurate.

With the late payments, you need to specifically tell them to update the account to "never late". If you don't, they might remove an otherwise positive account.

That is a good thing.

That's not something that we can accurately predict. My crystal ball is broken. Seriously, you'll only know that answer once you try. Sometimes they get removed, sometimes they don't.
