Default Sending Dispute Letters

If the credit companies would reject certified mail, how can you be sure that they will honor your request that is sent by regular mail.

I'm not 100% positive that they do reject certified mail, but you'd think it would piss them off pretty bad. And you don't want to piss them off if you're asking them to remove something for you, do you? I'm not saying that you need to suck up to them, but it never hurts to just be courteous to someone.

I've sent plenty of letters to the credit bureaus and I always get a response from them within 30 days.

If for some reason you don't get a response from them after 30 days, write them another letter. If you don't get a response after that, something is wrong. Call them.
