Default Wait time between steps

Ok, I just got all my individual reports (damn tri-merged doesn't give you all the details). I am sending a letter to remove/update all my personal items (experian had 22 addys, mostly duplicate variations) to Experian and Equifax. I asked for deletions online with TU since it was only 3 items. How long should I wait till I do the 1-2 punch for my collections and charge-offs? Do I wait to hear from the CRAs or start sending my DVs right away? Thanks

Are you asking how long after disputing your personal info should you wait to do the 1-2 punch? (sorry if I am misunderstanding but just wanting to make sure)

If so, you need to wait until you get your investigation results and updated CRs from the 1st disputes (usually 30 days......sometimes a little quicker). You never want to overlap disputes......otherwise the CRAs tend to ignore the second dispute and add 15 extra days on the first dispute.

I got my online reply from TU this morning. All the deletions I requested where done. I was gonna mail to Equifax, but I think I'll go online (got 4 addys and 2 employers only). I'll mail request to Experian since it has so many. I'll wait for Equifax's response since many of the collections are listed across all three.

I've been researching and wanting to repair my credit for so long now, but the procrastinator in me just wouldn't get off his fat a**. Now this little win has given me quite a bit of motivation to get it done. With home prices falling as low as they have, I need to take advantage of it soon or I'm gonna miss out again. Not easy for a single father of four....

Good deal on the deletions.

Actually, with Experian.......you can call them if you want. I did that and the addys were deleted in a few days.
IF you get a nice CSR (which does happen occassionaly)they will go through each addy with you and even tell you (if they cannot delete it) which TL the addy is tied to.

I know what you mean about housing prices. We are trying to take advantage of it too but prices in this area are outrageous. What would have been 150K in TX is going for about 400K here in WA. Crazy.
