This is what is showing up on my CR they aren't responding to Lexington and it's been like 2 months since they sent them letter and I'm scared these people are going to take me to court.

Sometimes, it takes a few disputes before they budge.

I highly doubt they will sue you over those small amounts, but if they do, let us know immediately. Do NOT miss your court date. The worst thing you can do is not show up. Collection agencies win 90% of their cases by default because the defendant didn't show up.

But, like I said, I highly doubt they will sue you.

I don't know much about HIPAA, but from what I've read it doesn't seem like it has much to do with your situation.

You can ask Lexington to make sure, but I'm pretty sure they don't handle HIPAA matters.

The HIPAA process is a method of removing medical collections from your CRs.

It only works if the debt is paid or you intend to pay.......and you ONLY deal with the OC/healthcare provider. You cannot have any contact with the CA whatsoever.
It's a long process (several months) but it does work.

There's more to it than that.........but in a nutshell, that's it.
I used this method to remove several of my medical collections.

If you are interested, let me know and I will go into it with little more detail.

I'm interested! (And a little embarrassed that I don't know much about it. Any new credit repair methods we can add to our arsenal would be wonderful!) Thanks Trish!

If you pay the OC and not the CA what happens then? does in still report on your CRs as a collection account but paid or in my fantasy world does it magically disspear from your reports?
