I messed up

Man, I messed up. We've been working hard to repair the 3
derogs my wife had from 2 years ago. We are in our 4th month
of credit repair. Well as we all can see the economy is in a major
down turn and our business slowed down. We fell behind on our
business credit card with Airtran. I made a payment to them last
week, but now they have hit her with 30 day lates the last 4 months,
and a 60 in August!!! Was almost there with the other derogs. What
to do now??!!??

The best thing you can do for lates is calling or writing them a goodwill letter.
Basically this is just you begging and pleading for them to remove it. Explain to them what is going on (or elaborate if you must....but make it good) and hopefully they will agree to delete the lates.

Don't give up on the first no. Keep trying.........keep calling, keep writing. If you can get the addy to the CEO or Pres (someone with pull in the company), then write them.

If that doesn't work, try disputing it with the CRAs. Just be aware that sometimes if you dispute something.......anything.......there is a chance that the whole tradeline will get deleted. You really don't want that if it is a good standing debt.
