Default Please help! New "validation" from crappy ca

Alright, so I sent that letter i was advised to send telling this CA that the info they gave me was not what i requested and it was violating my rights. etc. i received back, a letter stating that they are offering a 25% discount on my account due to "economic problems".

Also, they sent back my letter with writing on it again, with commentary. after it says "you have not supplied sufficient evidence that the alleged debt is mine." they write"-not so-" (initiled)

Then after it says "..will entitle me to presume that you sent your letter in error and that this matter is permanently closed." they write "Good luck" (initialed)

Then, "you are currently in violation of the (FCRA and FDCA)" they write "Hire an attorney" (initialed)

Then, "all future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by USPS." they write "you dont set our office policy"

Ending from them "you know you owe the debt. We will settle-in-full for 75% of the current total" (signed)

Now, my question is, do I just sit back and wait to see what the credit reporting agencies do? this is really getting on my nerves. this guy sucks at doing business!!!

Take his ass to federal court and sue for his numerous violations. He doesn't understand the law or doesn't care.

I agree.
I think you should talk to an atty now. This is ridiculous.
Look on the NACA website and find an atty in your area that specializes in debt collection. Call them and explain the situation. If they see it's a slam dunk case (which IMO, it is), sometimes they wait to charge you after you've received a settlement.
