Smile original creditor charge-off

Owed on a charge card from Chase. It was acquired by CACH, who retained Daniels and Norelli. I settled and received papers stating full and complete settlement - settled in full. CACH did not report on my CR, however the original creditor, Chase, did with a charge off, and stated that it was sold or transferred.
Is there anyway that I can remove the reporting of the chargeoff from Chase, since I settled with CACH?

Absolutely. Dispute it.

I already disputed with experian stating that information was incorrect. They sent it back stating that this account was updated. Do I dispute again with experian, or do I send a letter to Chase? If I send a dispute to experian, what should I say? I am afraid of giving too much info. thanks,

You may want to write a letter to Chase asking them why they verified the information and to let them know that reporting false information can result in them paying a $1,000 fine for each CRA they are reporting to.

Write Experian and let them know that you want it removed immediately as it the information is still incorrect and by them reporting it, it's abrogating your federal rights.
