I read on a website (Creditwrench, I believe) that if an OC wants to sell a debt, he must do two things: 1. Inform the debtor that he is selling the debt, and 2. Give the debtor an opportunity to buy the debt at the same price. Is this correct? |

From what I have learned, this is correct. You must 1st let the debtor know you are selling before proceeding.
