Default why buy credit report and not use free report?

Why is it better to buy your credit report and use that to reference any items as opposed to the free reports from annualcreditreport.com ??
Annualcreditreport.com transfers you to the 3 credit sites and they runt he report, so why not use that ?
I think you said something about 15 extra days, where does that come from ?

That comes right from the AnnualCreditReport.com website. It's also in the FCRA.

I never buy my credit report...I just use a free service every year. I dont see the point of buying one either.

It depends if you want to dispute items or not. If you get the free one, you give the CRA 45 days instead of 30 days to investigate any disputes. The less time you give them, the better.
