I was told by a credit repair attorney that medical bills can be removed from your credit report because they are not supposed to be on there or something like that. So my question is what is the best way to deal with them?

Not sure in what capacity this credit repair attorney told you that medical bills can be removed because they are not allowed on there. I know from experience and in my State medical debt can be reported, when reported there are certain information that can be only seen by you and not by those that have legitimate access to your reports. Unless you live in State that prohibits reporting of medical debt, I really can't confirm the validity of what that person told you. As far as the website you linked goes, there are statements in there that I don't agree with and wouldn't advice someone to follow. Now on to your question. The way that I have dealt with medical bills is follow Why Chat's advice on their site. I was successful in removing the medical debts from the credit reports as well as paying the correct entity owed on a legitimate claim. Here is the link. Read the whole entire thing(even the links provided) and follow the directions carefully. That is VERY important! Why Chat's site regarding how to deal with medical debts |
