Angry Lots of incorrect stuff on my Experian report

Chane

I tried to dispute on-line with Experian first just to see what would happen. Well, lets just say not much. That being said I am now in the final stages of disputing via the postal mail. Here are some problems.

JC Penney -

Address on Credit Report is a closed PO box.

In other words Experian is claiming I have an outstanding debt to a company that does not even exist technically.

First Premier Bank-

OOooops! Charge off in 03 than a "magically" good standing in October of 05.

In other words first premier tried to re-age my account - ILLEGAL

Chane whats worst about this is the fact that when I disputed via on-line Experian said the debts were valid. Hmmmmm! Chane, this is why I was wondering if you should discuss the E-Oscar system which is an absolute FRAUD! The E-oscar system sham couldn't even pick up these egregious errors. Worst than that was the fact that Experian couldn't just TELL by looking at my credit report that something was not right with these accounts. ARGH!

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with Experian. They are the absolute worse. As a company, they really have a true hatred for the consumer.

You are right, I should talk about the e-oscar system more. Perhaps that will be the next subject for my blog.

The dispute process is very flawed. Lots of times the only way to get them to budge is to sue them. You may want to seek legal help. Lots of times you will be reimbursed by whoever you sue if you win. Many people are doing it and winning.

It's sad that we as consumers have to even think about resorting to litigation, but companies like Experian have no right to play God over our financial lives. They violate our federal rights on a daily basis and it's getting old.

Default Update

Chane,

I resubmitted my dispute with Experian. Basically they said they would only reinvestigate if I had additional relevant information. Well I sent out to them certified mail a stack of papers about 25 deep. I even printed out my credit report and drew lines to each erroneous, illegal, and false thing regarding each account. I was even nice enough to quote law and statute. I even quoted the decision on the E-Oscar system explaining to them that by using this system it is not a valid method to verify information. I will update you next month as to how this dispute goes with them.

Good Luck. I would also like to hear how that goes. I feel that Chane is right about the suing part. More money to the attorneys just to protect the consumers rights.
