I have three revolving credit cards. $300, $350 and $250. I have paid all three down to zero balance. I have 3 30 day late payments in the last 2.5 years. I recently talked to the creditors of the late payments and they agreed to remove the 30 day late payments. They mailed me a letter stating it as well. They told me to dispute the items on my credit report and once they get the dispute they will remove the hits because I have been a good customer with them on a couple of ocassions and I have set them up with automatic debit from my checking account monthly so I will never be late again. But my Fico score now is 572 and my goal is 620 so I can try and purchase a home. How many points I may possibly accrue after paying all my balances down and having the 30 hits removed by June 15 (thats when the dispute term end and I paid the cards off on May 3rd so they should report by then as well). I have been paying bills on time for the last 2 years also. I'm 48 points short of my goal. Can I reach it or possibly how long will this take? I forgot to include I have an auto loan (current) and 2 installment loans (current).:confused:

You should send a dispute to all 3 credit bureaus asap with copies of the letters the creditors sent you. You may want to also dispute other negative accounts if there are any.

Remember you can dispute, judgments, liens, bankruptcies...anything! You do not have to, nor should you ever lie to the CRAs. Just ask them for proof and verification on negative accounts. If they can't prove them, they most remove them.
