SOL for medical collections in ID

Anyone know offhand the SOL on medical collections in Idaho? Is it considered a contract (which would be, I believe, 5 years)? I have a CA that is really, really, trying what seems like a last ditch effort to collection a few accounts that are at the five year mark and I'd like to write them a bug-off letter, but want to be absolutely sure before I do. Or would it be better to write a validation letter and ask them to prove that the debts are within the SOL? I'm so confused today. :confused:

Yea, it's 5 years. I would send them a validation or pay for delete letter.

The collection is for five tiny accounts, totaling $200 altogether. I called all the OCs today and three are past the SOLs. Of the other two, one goes off the SOL on August 5th, and one goes off on October 6th. Explains their last ditch effort. I'm going to send a validation letter and see if they drop them. At worst, I figure I'll have to do a PFD on those two if they bother to validate them. Together they only total about $80.

I would wait until October 6 to do anything unless you really need to get credit before then.
