Exclamation Need help asap Please!

I really need some help fast! I really dont know how to handle this and not sure if I started something I dont know how to finish....But anyways....I am new here and send a validation letter to a few CA's and got a letter back saying "Before they will provide any sort of validation that I need to provide proper identification including full legal names, dob, ss, former and current physical address, former and current employment history. And to identify the specific account in question. And that a blank random request suggests fraud. And that they will provide validation of debt following the FTC guidelines, not the form I provided. I sent one of the validation letters that I got from this forum so I dont think its out of sorts.....

I really need some help here so if anyone has any advice I would really really appreciate it!

Thanks so much!

Blessings, Heather:confused:

Did you put an acct # in the dispute letter? If so then screw them.
They don't need ANY of that info.

Make sure you are keeping copies of EVERYTHING (your letters, CMRR receipts, printouts or RR cards to prove they rec'd them).
You can send them a DV2 and let them know you are still waiting on validation....
If they send you ANYTHING attempting to collect (or phone calls)... they are in violation.

p.s..... sorry, I know you have a lot of questions. I will try to answer when I can.

Thank-you so much Trish! Any help I can get I am very thankful for. I did not put any account numbers on the letters so I guess that is bad on my part. I dont know what I was thinking. So why are they asking for all this personal info? Are they in violation by doing that? I was trying to do a 1-2 punch on them until I got the letter. Can I send them a DV2 letter with the account info?

Thank-you again so much!

Heather:confused:

Forgot to tell you also....I forgot to send them CMRR but I did send them CM and tracked them on usps.com that said they were delivered. I will from now on though send them CMRR.
