Boy, that was fast. This CA sent 2 patient ledgers. One for a medical procedure...one for the Dr. Curiously, the Med Center billed me for $300 higher than what the ledger shows. Anyway, what should I do now, PFD the CA or OC or what? By-the-way, I didn't know until today (read an old thread) not to sign validation letters to CAs; so, every CA I sent validation letters to got my signature. Thanks for your response! |

Got my 2nd validantion response from CA today. However, all they did was send me copies of computer screen shots dated 7/20/09 (the date the CMRR was accepted) that show that I had an account with the OC at one time. They also show a computer screen shot of statement fee dates with amounts on 9/13/2005 and 9/28/2005. This was for a merchant account I had to be able to accept credit card payments. When I closed my business (prior to those dates) I called and canceled my business with them but, they billed me for another cycle after that. What they say in their letter is "enclosed is a copy of the document provided by (OC) that substantiates our transmission to the credit reporting agencies. The fees really are nominal. What should I do now? |
