Default CA turning table? - question

First time poster with question,

I requested from a CA to validate my debt. However, CA requested that I copy some identification so they can make sure debt is mine.

Letter was like this-
'We are currently looking for someone named with birthday of with SS # ending in . Please send us a copy of before we share information'

I don't feel comfortable like sending any personal information to CA.

What should I do next?

Request CR to remove account since CA can't validate it without my ID?

Is it your SS#?If they gave you a number and it's not yours just reply not my number. And to cease and desist reporting this until they resolve the error in their files. They would look pretty silly going into court and produce a different number.Don't think a judge would like his time being wasted.Their trying to stall as they might not have anything.Tell them since they can't verify they need to delete it asap.:p
