Default What do I do after Validation Letters and they call me?

I sent validation letters, and the debt was never validated. I got a call today, about 60 days after the letters were sent. The guy was really rude and hung up on me.

Please let me know what I should do from here.

Thanks,
JR

JR[/QUOTE]Get a notebook and write date, time, name if possible picture of your caller id,if you can tape in your state tape the call.Send them a letter stating in these words that it is inconvenient to call me at any time or any number.USPS only.Don't send a cease&desist letter because it leaves them no option other then to sue.

Yep, you need to keep a good paper trail on these guys. You've already got them on violation #1. Send them this DV2 letter (CMRR).......and like jj said, take a picture of your caller id because proof that they called along with proof that you sent them a DV letter (CM# and RR card) will be proof that they violated the FDCPA.
