Default Paid Collections

I have a question if i had an item go into collections and then i paid it in full should i have that item removed from my credit report? I will show you an example below but there are alot of them on my report please let me know Please look below thank you

Jay,

It won't come off of your report on it's own. You must dispute it with the CRA.

the post above, CHANE, you said that even if you settle the obligation with the CA, you can still have it removed by the CRA? After you settle with the CA, do you ask the CRAS to verify?
