I have an old medical debt (6 years old) that keeps getting verified every time I dispute it. I refuse to pay this for several reasons.......one of them being that they price gauged me when I had no insurance. So, I think I'm going to try sending them a modified SOL/DV letter. My question is...... When I was checking to see if they were liscensed to collect in my state (unfortunately they are), I noticed a local office here in WA. The address listed on my CRs is a TX addy. The debt occurred in TX. Where do you think I should send the letter? To TX or the local office? Think it makes a difference? |

I think what I might do is send the DV to the local office and maybe that might just take them longer to get proper validation (if they can even get it).........so I may just try a 1-2 punch. It's worth a shot right? |
