Question Bonded Adjustment

I just started this process and my first response has come from Bonded Adjustment. They responded to my "validation" letter by sending me back my original letter and attaching a small piece of paper that says, "Please provide a full account number so that we may locate your account with us. If you have any further questions you may contact our office at etc. etc.". When I sent the original letter I enclosed a copy of my credit report with the debts hilited and also noted the two account numbers that are listed on my credit report on letter also. What more could they want? Also does this request start the 30 day wait over again. Thanks anyone who can help.

OK. So it actually seems like you are wanting to validate your debts with the collection agency. You do not need to send them a copy of your credit report. That is only suggested when disputing information on your credit report or reports with the CRA's. The thirty days you are referring to applies to sending such dispute letters in which case the answer to your question is yes if you give them a reply or cantact them in any other way. There are some sample letters of all types listed on the main site which may benefit you. It is also suggested that whenever you send anything in writing to the collection agency, that you always send your letters certified mail return receipt requested.

If they can't validate it, don't pay them plain and simple and if they can't see the account numbers on your report which you so hilighted, I would suggest sending a dispute letter to the CRA's that the collection accounts are listed on in order to dispute the accounts and possibly get them removed.

Hope this helps!

Default Thanks a bunch!

I will just finish out the thirty days and see what happens with the response back from the Credit Bureaus. If they (Bonded Adjustment) can't figure out the account number when they are the ones who sent it to the Credit Bureau in the first place, I would think the Credit Bureau shouldn't be able to verify the debt with them and hopefully they will take it off. I will just wait and see before I send anything either way. Thanks for your help.
