Is the Opt-out the same thing that Life Lock does to keep pre approved offers to a min?

I'm not exactly sure what Life Lock does, but even if you are with them, it wouldn't hurt to opt out again to make sure.

Default Question About OPTing Out

So I went to the site to opt out. And it said it would be helpful if I used my SS# and my birthday to opt out. But I didnt have to.

Do you suggest adding my SS# and birthday to the opt out request or does it really matter??

Thank You,
MIKE

Mike, good question. If they suggest it, I would do it. That way they could make sure it's you they are opting out and be able to find you by birth date and SS in case there are misspellings of your name or address.
