Default Bankruptcy mistake?

I have filed bankruptcy and it has been discharged. I noticed on my petition that an amount listed for one of the companies I filed on is more than what the actual debt was. Does that pose a problem??

No it is a bonafide error,However since its a error you can now dispute the reporting to a cra of the creditor reporting the amount to the cra, chances are they will have no idea how to find the correct amount without pulling the court records, and you can use the amount the court used as the basis for the dispute. As a note lawyers some times inflate the numbers so the case looks better.

If the petition that the court sent back to me as verification does not state the names of the companies that were included should I be able to get those accounts removed from my credit?

It's on your sch f on a bk 7.all the court will send is a fact that you had a bk,you need to see if it's on your credit report, after the filing of your bk,if they added after they are in violation of the stay, you can reopen your case to have them sanction.Might make some money for you.
