Default Removing Bankruptcy

I declared bankruptcy 8 years ago and want to know how to remove it from my credit report, since it's been so long. Also how do I apply for credit cards after the bankruptcy is removed?

You just have to dispute it. After getting it removed, I would go to your local credit union and apply for a card for $500-$1000.
