Sounds like they thought it was a form letter or a CRO. Was it hand written or typed?
The CRAs use a computerized mail sorting process.....any typed up letter can be scanned by their system and sorted accordingly.
That is why you will see in several posts here, the recommendation to send in your disputes hand written or with purple or teal italic font. The computers cannot scan these and it has to be routed to an actual person that will open and read it.
I would try disputing again.... send it CM but not RR and handwritten if possible. Some people have even sent in their proof of ID (picture ID and proof of SS#) so that the person reading it won't have any excuse to say it's not you.
