if its public record then they can't verify it. So if i say hey this can't be verified and all the ydo is contact the bank instead of the court then im going to look dumb.

Public records and creditors are 2 different issues.Dispute the public record all the cra needs to do is contact the courthouse.Has nothing to do with the bank.
