I am new on here and after reading and reading and also searching around in other forums I finally after trying to take deep breath as ashamed as I am have to ask for help and put my story out here.

I came to the U.S. about 8 years ago as a students and got a social security # through my student visa. I first met a girl in school who told me to just apply for credit and put in whatever I want in my application, they won't check it and if I get in debt then who cares since you are leaving anyways.
Yes those were her words and me knowing not anything about this and after opening a regular bank acct did it in 2003. Well I got approved by BofA and Cap1. I had no income since I wasn't allowed to work and due to this and because I was dumb and naive I ran them down, 1st one $800 2nd $200. I don't believe I ever made a payment but if so then maybe one on each since I didn't have the money. Yes I know why lying and getting them in the first place? I know it was very irresponsible and plain stupid - I know that now!
Well, now 7 years later I am married with kids and have never touched my CR since then, never applied or even checked. I am a housewife now, paying my husbands bills on time and understanding a lot more about CR and credit in general! I know I started off the wrong food but I want to fix it! I have pulled my free CR from two CRA and found the following:
BofA (charged off and in collection)
date of last payment 01/04
date of 1st Del 03/04
Cap1 (charged off and in collection)
date of last payment 02/04
date of 1st Del 01/04
I have, since I opened up the accounts gotten married like mentioned but never changed my maiden name which appears on the CRs and never changed my address. I have also moved from FL where I opened both accounts to TN
I know about SOL but I read it's tolled in FL still they don't know when I moved. I am not trying to hide but I am trying to get a fresh start and get them removed somehow. I know they should fall off soon but since I was so worried about what to do and to help my husband who had to put everything we own in his name I did the wrong thing when I pulled the report yesterday. I disputed. Will I "wake up the sleeping dogs"? I know SOL in fl is 4yrs in Tn it is 6yrs.
also should I have my husband add me as an AU or should I try to open a secure card or just wait and get the fresh start once the fall off?but then they have my new address?
