What I did NOT like (and this is why I dropped them) is because my acct was put on "hold" and I had to call them. They then explained that I was excessively pulling my reports (uh..what? you ALLOW daily pulls! ). They wanted to know why I was pulling them so often and if one of the reasons was because I was trying to get bumpage (trying to overload the system with pulls so that the hard inquiries would get bumped off). I told them it was MY prerogative to pull my reports whenever I wanted........and to please stop my service. Pffffft. lol |
That's funny. I remember bumpage. :D
This also reminds me of something that Comcast cable did to my friend. They shut him down and he had to call them. They told him the was using too much bandwidth. He was like "Oh, I didn't know there was a limit. How much am I allowed to use?". They said "Well, there isn't really a limit, but you are downloading too much." LOL What kind of shit is that?
It's like going to an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet and them telling you that you're eating too much! I mean, you pay for unlimited bandwidth, but they shut you down for using too much? Then when you ask how much is too much? They won't tell you? Unbelievable.
That is just one of the nightmares he has experienced with Comcast. Unfortunately, they are the only choice for high speed internet in that area, so he's pretty much stuck with them.
By the way, here's a list of credit monitoring services:
