A competent credit repair service will make sure the letters they send in your behalf appear original. They use hundreds of different letters and track which ones work the best to constantly improve their clients' results. It's the "secret recipe" of their business.
They also have the power to write letters on an attorney letter head and make legal threats, which can be much more effective in some cases, if it comes down to that.
