Not to go against what these guys are saying....
But the last few times that I tried to dispute addys online, they wouldn't let me. Something like......."for security reasons, you must dispute personal info in writing or call"
I am also very adamant about getting EVERYTHING in writing.........BUT for addresses........if you are wanting to get them off quickly so you can start your regular disputes, you
can call them. Although that is pretty much the only time I would suggest calling instead of writing. And they may still want proof of ID mailed to them.
If you write them, just put it in your own words, short and simple.
"I am disputing the following addresses on my CR because I never lived there..........please delete them from my record and send me an updated copy of my report"
Something like that anyway.
Also if you do it in writing, send them proof of SS# and current address.
Previous utility bill and SS card or W-2 (with earnings blacked out) should work. That way they don't have any excuses to drag their heels.
