Can a creditor legally change account #'s on an old account, after they purchased the account? I am thinking they bought these accounts from MBNA.
We had two accounts IIB with MBNA, but the dollar amounts don't match the BOA accounts either. ?
Redispute and have them tell you what method they used to verify. They probaly used e-oscar. Make them call then give you the name address and phone number of the person they verified. Or you can call them yourself and talk to them.
